About Kavra
Who we are, and why we made this.
The name
Kavra is a Turkish word. It means grasp, understand, realise: to take something in fully, in every aspect. It is the moment when something you have looked at a hundred times finally makes sense. That moment is what this whole thing is for.
Who we are
We are a group of people whose lives changed for the better after we took up the practices Sadhguru offers, and began to live more consciously. That change is what brought us together, and it is what all of this is built on. We also know, from our own experience, that becoming more aware and breaking the patterns that no longer serve you is genuinely hard.
Kavra is built by volunteers. No one is paid. We make it because we think it should exist. There are no ads, and there never will be.
Why we made this
Conscious living is not a single technique or a quick fix. It is a slow turn toward seeing your own life more clearly. What helps, we have found, is measuring. When you write down what you actually do, patterns start to appear, and a pattern you can see is one you can change, in the direction you choose. Measure. Remeasure. Notice what it brings. That is the whole idea behind Kavra.
Who it is for
This is for anyone who senses that things are not quite going the way they hoped, and would like to do something about it. You do not need to have it all worked out. A little awareness, and a willingness to look, is enough to begin.
What is here now
The tracking tools we are building are still on their way. For now, this website is where it begins: a growing collection of tips and concepts. Small things to try, and ideas to understand, to help you take a first step whenever you wish. We hope the website itself becomes useful to you in the meantime.
Track. Observe. Realise. Redefine.
It is our whole approach, in four words. Tracking is noticing what happens. Observing is seeing what changes, and what stays the same. Realising is when what you have been looking at becomes something you understand. Redefining is making small shifts toward a happier life, keeping what works and letting go of what does not. The steps are small. The pace is yours. The direction is personal.
You are welcome here
We would love to see a more conscious world, and we would like to help build it gently, one person and one small step at a time. If any of this speaks to you, come and be part of it. Everyone is welcome, and together we can help conscious living spread a little further, toward a happier world for all of us.
